Fabulous band! Made our wedding vow renewal a magical night!

Dropping a quick note to tell you thank you for going the extra mile (or 10) to make our daughter's reception party fantastic. Even though you were thrown some curveballs from the venue by them not having the power plug ins ready and setting tables on the stage, your band blazed past the obstacles and entertained our family and friends throughout the evening. It felt like we had our own private concert and really appreciated how personal you all were. One of our family's highlights were when you got great Grandpa and Grandma "Fred and Harriet" to do a special dance right in front of the stage. Literally brought tears to a lot of our eyes seeing how special you made them feel! It's been a couple weeks ago already but everyone is still talking about the night! THANK YOU for such a memorable evening!

S&S was great at our annual Race Team Prom event! The band rocked, and even the load-in and -out went smoothly, and everyone had a blast. Thanks so much!!

You just performed at our daughter's wedding reception and our family couldn't be happier! Shirts and Skins passed all our expectations on stage and off. You were all very professional and very personable to everyone as well. Appreciated you went out of your way to create a "Grandparents dance" and your singer came out to "help" them to the dance floor. Everyone loved your music and had a ball dancing!

Wanted to thank you for such a wonderful performance at our Daughter's wedding reception. Not only was your band outstanding and fun to dance/listen to, but when you took the time in the middle of your performance to involve the young children that came up to you in front of the stage, that impressed us all! Our Costco Corporate event was a huge success thanks in no small part to the band! Everyone thought they were very talented and high-energy. Usually most people at the party leave as soon as the prizes are awarded, but to our pleasant surprise, a lot of people stayed longer to dance and listen to the band! What a fabulous Oktoberfest! The place was on fire!!! You band was unbelievable and your awesome Oktoberfest costumes really were over the top and people LOVED THEM/YOUR band! I just spoke to you on the phone but wanted to leave our thoughts for your reviews page so others can hear feedback from people that have had you at their event(s). To be honest, reading some of the comments especially the ones from similar events like ours, is what convinced us to book you for our summer concert series. Our committee unanimously agrees that it was a huge success. In all the time we've had the summer concert series going, we've never had such an overwhelming number of people reach out to us with compliments and several asking if we had booking info for you to include a local business message us that wants you for their company Christmas party, an engaged couple about their wedding reception dance, a neighboring town's street dance and even our own county fair! Hello. I just wanted to thank you for your show performance at our fair AGAIN this year. Last year when you were here is was outstanding which is why we had you back for this year. All we can say is this year was EPIC! The whole reason I joined the fair board was to get good music because although we had "music", having you at our fair has made everyone realize it was nowhere in the same ballpark as what Shirts and Skins has brought to our fair. At our last meeting the board member that had been dragging his feet wanting to keep getting mediocre quality bands actually said "We struck GOLD with S&S". And to put punctuation at the end of him saying that the whole board applauded! Thank you for making my insistence to the board for getting your band last year validated to where it was a unanimous vote to have you again this year. Kinda vindication of all the cat herding I had to initially do :) See you next year!!!!

The entire event was incredible, Shirts and Skins did not disappoint and were wonderful! Their professionalism was unmatched and the performers were such a delight to work with. It was perfect! We had an amazing time and our guests loved the band! The band leader was a great problem solver with the little bit of rain we got and kept us in the loop with everything. Hello James (band) & Loren (agency). Thank you for your very entertaining show for our company's employee appreciation concert/party. Everyone loved the band and we couldn't believe how many people you had dancing. Even the owner and his wife danced several times and that's never happened. We thought it was such a touch of class when one of your female singers came off the stage while she was singing and sang directly to the little boy in the wheel chair (an employee's child) that was watching the band intently. That poor little guy has been through so much and that really made it special for him and his parents! And also, thank you also for announcing our awards. Wanted to give you our deepest thank you. You drew the most people we've every had which in turn generated the most money for our kid's Hockey fundraiser we've ever had and that's saying a lot because we've done this for 11 years running! All of you were so professional yet very down to earth and friendly! Thank You!

Just wanted to let you know that you made our Fire Dept fundraiser Street Dance a huge success. To be honest, we were nervous because we've never hired a bigger band like you before and was actually hoping to at least break even. Well... we broke even and made more for our Dept then the last 3 years combined!! Thank you so much because we were needing a lot of things to modernize our equipment! Hello! We saw you at the Kanabec Fair and we LOVED your band! We are having our family reunion the same weekend the fair usually is next year and have family coming in from around the country and even from overseas and we hope your band will be there that Saturday. S&S Rocked our fair! The only "complaint" we had were that they were so good they drew the people from all the other things happening at the fair. In reality it obviously wasn't a complaint but actually a first for us and all of us were elated about it! Everyone had so much fun and we had a ton of comments how good the band was. Our committee is meeting in a couple weeks to close out 2023 and will be starting 2024 plans and Shirts and Skins WILL be part of our 2024 fair for sure! Thanks for a fun memorable performance and we are all looking forward to next time!

Everything went so great. So many compliments from our guests and locals about the music. The band was great! Very flexible with the food and drink stuff and they sounded great! Even the locals up on top of the hill in New Ulm could hear clearly and I got messages about how they were enjoying themselves outside listening to the music. They say we should do this more often and we all agree! If you could save a Friday or Saturday in July 2024, and we will make something work!

I attended the concert in New Ulm last Friday. I am 58 years old and never attend concerts. But I was very impressed right away. The two lead singers worked well together and had great voices. All band members looked like they were having fun. And they only paused 3-5 seconds before starting the next song if even pausing at all. They were very professional. Even though I didn't know all the songs, we had fun! I turned to my wife and said, "I would pay to see this band again." Having said that, we're coming to see you in Owatonna Aug 18!

Thank you for an excellent show. Our Fire Dept crew really enjoyed how you involved us before your show with taking pictures etc and then mentioning us throughout your performance. No one has ever took the time to be that personable and was really nice. We've had a lot of comments asking where we found you and as we joked with you the night of the show... Hey! I don’t even have the words for how awesome they were! Our boss who is a die hard classic rock AC/DC guy was blown away. Absolutely loved them, put them 2nd behind the Fabulous Armadillos of bands he’s had at our corporate events. He’s got a pretty open mind but knows what he likes and he loved the band. I’ve never heard him be so enthusiastic before and I’ve been on the planning team for about 7 company events. We also don’t bullshit with feedback. The first song out the gate got people dancing and it usually takes 30 minutes at least to get folks dancing. And the dance floor never really emptied. So engaging. So talented! So energetic! Totally pulled the crowd in. You guys are definitely on our call back list for future events. Oh yeah - and you guys were all so easy to work with and coordinate the event. You made it no work at all to book the band. Thank you for the amazing freaking evening. Loved! Loved! Loved!!!!!!!

Everything was great! The band was wonderful and the crowd loved it. Load in and load out went quickly without issue and they had all the "runners" dancing from the first song on. We loved having them!

The band was awesome and the private party was a success! We were nervous because we've never hired a live band before but Loren at ACT-TREME TALENT and James from the band made everything so seamless and awesome and the icing on the cake was being on the dance floor with our family and friends just about every song! Our feet are all sore LOL! We will be having another party in 2 years and you WILL be our band!

Saturday night was fantastic! Shirts & Skins were in the top 3 of all the bands we have hired over the 30 years of Buggies & Blues. I had a lot of people who attended ask me where we found the band .. We did good and so did Acts-Treme Talent and the band. We hope they enjoyed their short stay in Mandan, as much as we enjoyed having them.

We've had entertainment for our Annual Conference for years and this was the first a band could do this and also the most packed the dance floor has EVER been!! All of our members loved you last year and everyone is looking forward to your return. Laura and I will be out again this weekend and bringing friends from town and have some coming from Phoenix too! We love your versatility and energy and how easy it is to dance to your music. I know it's a looooooooong drive from Minnesota for you but would you consider coming back here more that 2-3 times a year? Hello! We saw you again at Shooting Star Casino this past weekend and have to say Shirts and Skins is the best band that we've seen there. That's saying a lot because we are huge live music lovers and a group of us does there every weekend so we see all the bands that perform there. We have a group of about 12-25 people depending on who all can make it and we all wholeheartedly agree! Now we aren't saying the other bands are bad by any means, we are just complimenting you and saying your band is our favorite! Looking forward to when you're back in June. We have friends visiting from California that weekend. They actually were coming the week before but talked them into coming the week you're at Shooting Star because our group is planning a big party that weekend! Hello James and musicians! Our group Just saw you at the Shooting Star Casino. We a regulars there and have seen pretty much all the bands that have performed there. Shirts and Skins is by far the best band we've seen there! We actually plan our get-togethers around when you are going to be there. Sometimes it's not frequent enough which is why we traveled to see you at the casino in Red Wing, MN Treasure Island. It was fun seeing the band in a different setting and obviously the people there liked you as much as we do because the dance floor was full the whole night. It was really nice that James took the time out of his breaks between performance sets to talk with us, what a nice young man! We are so excited to be having you at our annual fundraising dance next summer! We'll see you at Shooting Star in January though!! Thanks for all the fun!

Everything was wonderful for our fundraising Gala. The band was great, had everything set up on time, they sounded great, and were all very professional and fun! We loved that they jazzed up their outfits to fit the theme of our event, what an awesome added touch! They were so good I plan to have them back again in the future. We had a great turnout for the event, more than we’d hoped and they certainly kept everyone on the dance floor!

My HUSBAND and I spent the last few weeks honeymooning in Portugal and kept telling each other throughout how fun the dance was! Everything was fantastic and went absolutely perfectly. We loved having the live band and Shirts and Skins more than performed! We loved them and will most definitely be recommending them to everyone we can :) Such a fun night, and the band was a big part of that. The DJ was super accommodating, played all our requests and was super easy to work with and super happy we went with the package that included the DJ! We truly had a great night, thank you for everything!

Sorry for the late response but have been tying up loose ends of our 2022 Fair. Please express our thanks to Shirts and Skins for being so accommodating, not to mention their overall fun performance! When the electricity went out, people started leaving in droves but within 10 minutes the band had 3 band members singing and playing acoustic guitars with a battery light facing them. Literally everyone turned around and came back to such a unique show. Then after about 30 minutes the electricity power came back on and the band instantly went into "concert mode" and the beer garden turned into PARTY CENTRAL! This for sure will be a performance to remember! Thank you again for keeping everyone around with your quick thinking and willingness to make the show go on!

Thank you for everything! You really made our Fireman's Fundraiser street dance a HUGE success. We for sure will be having you again in the future. A bunch of us will also be randomly showing up at some of your future shows so BE PREPARED!

Thank you so much for performing at our company party. We originally heard about Shirts and Skins from one of our new employees that came from 3M and said that you had performed at their company party last year and he said it was awesome and told how the band had everyone dancing from the first song on. Well.. After just having you at our party, I can say he was spot on! It's the most people that we have ever had dancing and that's saying a lot because we've had bands for the past 15 years! Hello! We were the family that came up to on your break for the fireworks. We wanted to send you a not thanking you for a fun family tradition that helped bring our family back together in Keewatin, MN for 8 years now! They had the audience and myself and my husband involved the whole time and made it such a memorable experience. Andy, our DJ that was part of our package was fantastic too! He and I had such a great phone call the week prior, to get acquainted and set the plan for our night. He was a great host for the evening, and was great at checking in on my husband and me to get our feedback on set lists and vibe. The whole evening was a 10/10 and we will definitely be recommending your name for any future events!

Awesome show at HonDah Casino in Pinetop AZ! My brother and I and better halves were on a little mini-vacation and heard there was "live entertainment" at the casino so we came out there on Thursday night. We had a blast and dances our butts off. My husband never dances but he did that night and I totally loved it because I love to dance and never really get to. We got back to the hotel and he said "Damn that was fun"! Thanks for letting me/us dance our tails off! When are you coming back to there? Maybe we'll just have to plan our next get-a-way!

We just saw you at Shooting Star casino and we were blown away! You by far are the best band we've seen there and that's saying something because there are a lot of good bands that play there. My husband and I are going to bring our company party out there when you are back in July! CAN'T wait till everyone gets to see you. Fun Band!

Everything went very well, once Xcel Energy got the power back on. The band was great and everyone loved them! They even played till 11 to make up for the 1 hour power outage they couldn't perform without even being asked! We were obviously going to shut down the party and just have them tear down but they insisted on waiting for the power to be fixed. WOW we couldn't believe it! Hire them! They were absolutely amazing before and at our wedding! Working with them on planning was painless and straightforward. All of my emails were answered super quickly and thoroughly. Shirts & Skins BEST Wedding Band!! We hired the Shirts & Skins band for our daughter's wedding this past August and we're so glad we did! From our first discussion to the last James (leader) was always responsive and informative, answering all our detailed questions. James worked with us on various packages which included both a sax and fiddle player; who were outstanding, as were their vocalists and the other members. He also spent time on discussing song selections that work for all ages! It was especially appreciated that the band made sure to learn a few favorites of the bride & groom! The crowd at our festival seemed to really enjoyed the show. The first clue was 20 seconds after they started their first song and the dance floor area was instantly PACKED for literally the rest of the night! We've heard a lot of positive things and we'd love to have them back anytime!

Shirts and Skins performance at our Theater of Performance Arts was incredible! We loved how they incorporated a dedication to our Military and Country. It was great – they drew our biggest crowd so far this summer! Which is both great and not so great since we had a difficult time social distancing everyone.  This is one we want back! Thank you for coming back to our Casino for our Holiday extravaganza week! I used to work there when your band was here a few years ago and was so let down when you didn't come back. When we asked when you were returning the Marketing Manager said they had cut back on their budget and had to eliminate bands that were over the "new limit" (most of them) which she said was actually unreasonable to expect a band to travel that distance and to perform for but that's what the new GM wanted so she had to do it. Well needless to say the quality of entertainment went down the drain and people literally quit coming to the lounge anymore. I'm so glad they had a better budget for that week you were back because it went so well that they are now putting their budget back up so we can get quality groups like Shirts and Skins back on rotation here!  Oh and by the way, your band is better than ever!

WOW!!  This is the ultimate band for any party!  Going off the recommendation of another company that we do a lot of business with, we hired Shirts & Skins for our company's annual Midwest event and everyone was ecstatic! They had everyone on the floor from the first song to their last (which was 3 songs past when they were supposed to be done because everyone kept screaming for more)!  The only thing we regret is not renting the facility for later in the night because we would have gladly paid them to do an extra set! TOO MUCH FUN!  Needless to say we will be having them at our next event and we all HIGHLY recommend anyone that wants an awesome band to entertain them to the fullest to get Shirts & Skins!!  Very fun band with a high energy audience involving show, and have both female and male awesome vocalists and unbelievable song list! Great Job Shirts & Skins Band, we all look forward to seeing you again!  Also want to mention how ACTS-TREME TALENT was a pleasure to deal with. Very informative and quick to help and respond.  All in all a winning team and highly recommended!  

Shirts and Skins Band delivered! Exactly what we wanted for my daughter's wedding reception - live music and amazing soloists. The dance floor was busy all night while they played a wide variety of songs - from Toto and Guns N Roses to Adele. What an evening - thank you Shirts and Skins Band!!

This band was FABULOUS!! They kept the crowd entertained and dancing. During breaks, we had a DJ contracted through them who was also FABULOUS! I would recommend them to anyone!!  ..Katie Z

Out of all the bands we had at Oktoberfest the crowd especially liked Shirts on Skins on Saturday. They packed the house and we really appreciated their German outfits – great touch for the festival. We’d love to have them back again!!

WOW!!  What an unbelievable band!  You had us all dancing from your first song to the last.  Everyone was blown away by your variety and excellent vocals and musicians. We wholeheartedly recommend Shirts and Skins to anyone and everyone that wants to have FUN!   They all dressed so nice as well.. VERY CLASSY!  The one thing that we really appreciated was the ease of booking Shirts & Skins and coordinating with them of what we wanted for our day.  The band leader and their booking agency made it a stress free process and we feel we got way more than we asked for!  Great show Shirts and Skins and thank you for such a memorable day!!  People are still commenting to us how they were blown away by you!

The band was amazing! Everything went smoothly and they kept all our guests on the dance floor on night! 

Best band we've seen in quite a while! They are all very talented and energetic and that got us all dancing (even the stick in the muds) :) Love their song selection and variety!

Medifast Christmas Corp Party  

It was wonderful! Everyone loved the band! They were so talented and energetic, if all goes the same as far as planning for next year’s party, expect a call!! I hope they all enjoyed themselves too!

~Other Feedback~

It went really well especially for the first year.  We were very very happy with the band.  I have seen them before so I knew they would be well received.  What I had NOT seen before was the professionalism they displayed while setting up and such.  Clearly they take this seriously.  

Thanks for all of your help.  We will for sure consider S&S for next year.

Everything went great and ran smoothly! It was great to have Shirts & Skins perform here and the students really enjoyed them! All the musicians were very friendly, appreciative, and professional. Thank you so much for everything!! I hope to see them again soon.
